Book Club level A2/B1 - from Juni, 7 2012
A weekly appointment for one hour and 15 minutes for those who enjoy reading and want to improve their Italian in a pleasant and relaxing way, with the possibility of practicing both reading and speaking.
We'll read books appropriate to the level A2 and B1 and discuss the contents and articulate opinions. All this in a relaxed, book club environment, obviously including coffee!
The next session will includes 3 meetings of 1 hour and 15 minutes, on Thursday at 2 pm, from June 7, 2012. In Italian.

ITALIAN COOKERY WORKSHOP! June 8, 2012
On June 8, 2012, Studiolingua organize in collaboration with Chef Antonella Barbella, a workshop of Italian cuisine!
The workshop will be held at Studiolingua at 18.30 and will last approximately 2 hours. At the end of the workshop participants will have diner together.

Open evening Saturday September 8, 2012
On Saturday the 8 of September 2012, Studiolingua will open its doors for a very special evening, where you'll find info about Italian culture, our new language courses and as always, our typical Italian sparkles!!
We will begin the evening at 7 pm with a glass of Prosecco and some Italian snacks. We have than a lots of different free and non-binding introduction classes.

Intercultural Course: Italy and Holland - from October 3, 2012
Converging and diverging elements that characterize and enrich the coexistence of these two cultures. Where they meet, where they collide and coexist mainly as two different identities. In this series of meetings, we take intercultural learning further to recognize the features that characterize our everyday life: work, lovers, friends and society.
The course is in Dutch, by Wilfred Ploeg, 4 x 2 hours. We offer this course on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 pm, on October 3, 10, 17 and 31, 2012.
Course fee: € 129.00 per person.

Course introduction to translation Italian/Dutch - from November 7 , 2012
A course of 7,5 hours in introduction to the Dutch translation of a variety of Italian texts. These are varied texts, for example of journalism, the tourist industry and the literature come.
The student receives directives by translating a passage from a novel, from a tourist brochure, from a diploma, from the newspaper and so on and get familiar with translation techniques. The translations should be sent in advance to the teacher. They are then reviewed and discussed in class.
The course is designed for those who already have a reasonable knowledge of Italian language and the grammar (at least B1 level) and want a 'taste' what will translate meaning. This can be a hobby, so as to increase knowledge in general, but also from a more practical necessity, such professionals.
5 meetings of 1,5 hour, on Wednesday from November 7 at 18 h, till December 5, 2012.

Learning Italian through the movies - till the end of May 2012
Suitable for students from level B1.
The vision of films for students of Italian language is always a very motivating activity, it facilitates understanding, helps the analysis of language and shows aspects of life and culture. We have therefore created an annual course that uses the images and the script of the films to develop and improve students' communicative competence.
Each film will be dedicated to 2 or 3 sessions (depending on length of the film) of 1.5 hours.
During this sessions, in addition to the vision and analysis of extracts from the movie, students will be involved in activities related to the characters, the environment, language and will be provided with information about the author, the director, actors and places.

Every Wednesday from 17:00 to 18:30 till 30 May 2012. Cost € 250. In Italian. Professor Dora Gatti. It is also possible to only buy the 2 or 3 classes for a single movie.
Italian for children - till the end of June 2012
In a fun way we teach children the basics of Italian, through the use of songs, games, drawings, stories and words / phrases matched to real situations. For children this is' a very efficient and attractive way at the same time.
The course mainly verge on language 'spoken' and the interaction between teacher and child. Not focus on grammar, but our intention is to stimulate, through various activities, listening and pronunciation of words and phrases, more and more to familiarize the child with the Italian language.
The course will take place on Wednesdays from to 4.30 to 5.30 pm, from January 11 and will run until June 20, 2012, for a total of 23. Price € 195,00.
It is also possible to buy a package for three months classes, instead of the whole year, for € 100.00 and even if the course has already started, new candidates can always be added to the group.
