The Certificates ‘Italian for non-native speakers’ of the University for Foreigners in Siena and in Perugia show the level of comprehension of Italian as a foreign language. Both non-Italians in the Netherlands as Italians living in the Netherlands (children of Italian emigrants) can obtain the certificates. In order to be eligible for the exams, no specific prior diploma is required. For organizing exams outside of Italy, the University for Foreigners in Siena and in Perugia has special agreements in place with foundations and schools in the respective countries where the exams are to be taken.

STUDIOLINGUA is the only private school in the Netherlands where the exams CILS (of the University for Foreigners in Siena) can be taken.

The exam consists of an oral and a written part. The length of the exam is determined by the level of skill, but varies from at least two ours for the entry level A1 to the final level C2. There are always 2 exams session each year, one in June and one in December. The next one will be on 07.06.2012. Enrolment is possible till 20.04.2012.
